The Freedom of Choice Act (Senate Bill 1173 / House of Representatives Bill 1964) threatens human life. If passed, FOCA would:
1. Make void present laws protecting a woman from unsafe abortions and laws ensuring that she is informed about abortion.
2. Require taxpayers to pay for abortions.
3. Require states to allow “partial birth” and other late term abortions.
4. Require states to allow abortions by non-physicians.
5. Bar laws protecting a right of conscientious objection to perform an abortion.
6. Deny parents an opportunity to be involved in their minor daughter’s abortion decision.
Speaking out on behalf of Life and against FOCA is an important challenge facing us. Take the time to let your members of Congress know that their voice should speak for LIFE.
